Crowder Furniture - Breckenridge, CO The dining table is located within a steel, concrete and glass box that sits amid a grove of lodge pole pines. Formally and materially, the space needed balance. The table needed the critical mass to create a place within the box that had the power to gather people. We used wood as a way of bringing the trees back into the tree house. The table has two lives: not only does it serve as a table and chairs when in use, it lives as pure, sculptural geometry when not in use.
