Town Center Estates - Thornton, CO                                     The owner wanted to create a new town home community. We organized the site to make places of pathways and districts, creating a small-scale urban environment. For the town homes, our challenge was to take this archetypal form and transform it to avoid creating one monolithic structure rather than individual homes. We offset concentric boxes to create layers in a way in which the outer layer would reveal the inner one.
