Corcoran Residence - McLane, Virginia                              This design starts where the existing structure’s parallel walls left off. An orchestration of flat and barrel shaped roofs create differentiation of form and provide an opportunity for hierarchical space. The articulation of building parts further denotes the experience of place through the creation of referential elements i.e. wall, pilaster, beam and roof.
