St. Mary’s Elementary School - Greeley, CO                       St. Mary’s Elementary School is a two-track K-8 school that is the final structure in a Catholic campus. We were charged with three goals: Safety, community, and inspiration. Parents can rest easy when they drop their children off at the school because the principal can continuously observe the students as they come and go. Once inside the building, a central interior street is a gathering place where people can gather and communicate casually as they make their way to their next class. Colors are used in and around the classrooms to clearly articulate places for learning and teaching. In addition, a corner of each classroom is pulled out to give the north-facing rooms an inspiring view to the mountains.
