The Black Box - Denver, CO                                             A video recording studio and production facility located in an industrial part of the city, this structure realizes the dual nature of program. While the activities of the user demands exposure and invitation to the visitor the activities within demand closed and controlled environments. In like manor, the architecture weaves an open red frame amongst closed and solid walls of a black box. Entry, lobby, and conference room are placed within the transparency of frame, while the activities of camera and video screen are located within the closure of wall.
